With deep sadness, we at DALKO Resources lost a great friend with the passing of Jack Dapkus. Jack was our very first sales representative and was with the company for its entire ten years. But Jack was more than that – – he was part of the family and we are hurting with his loss.
Jack was a good husband, father and man of God. I know – because he idolized his wife and wouldn’t make a decision that would affect the family without running it past Mary Ann for discussion. His children and grandchildren could do no wrong! Jack loved God and prayed regularly. I know, because during the growth of DALKO, Jack would pray with me. When times were tough I would pick up the phone and call him. He would always be there to console me and often times he gave me great advise that I still use today when certain situations arise.
Jack loved and cared about people. When Jack knew you were hurting he was always willing to help. Jack loved my family and he was so proud of how DALKO developed. He was very proud that DALKO became a company with morals and integrity – not just financial gain.
I believe in my heart that we were both praying one day and God answered both prayers with one – he put the two of us together as very good friends. Jack will be missed but never forgotten. Jack passed away on April 5th. He would have been 63 years old on May 23rd. God bless Jack Dapkus and his family.
