The national average diesel fuel price increased four cents from last week to $3.87 per gallon according to the Gasoline & Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA July 15, 2013, 17 cents higher than last year at this time. The average price per gallon jumped five cents in the East Coast, West Coast and Gulf Coast regions, to $3.88 on the East Coast, $4.00 on the West Coast and $3.80 on the Gulf Coast. The average Midwest price increased three cents to $3.85 per gallon. The average price per gallon in the Rocky Mountain region is now $3.83, two cents higher than last week.
