The U. S on-highway diesel fuel price for the week of April 22, 2018 averaged $3.133 per gallon. It has been on the rise for the past month. The most expensive region in America is on the West Coast. The price per gallon ranges from $3.616 to nearly $4.00 at $3.815. The only region in the country less than $3.00 per gallon is the Gulf Coast at $2.936.
