Diesel Fuel Price

 

The U. S. On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price on 05/08/17 was $2.565. This price is down nearly

2 cents from the previous week. Not only is the average down, it was down in every region

of the country. This is the first time in months that this has happened. The highest price

continues to be in California ( $2.927 ), and the lowest remains in the Gulf Coast Region

( $2.410 ). Hopefully, this trend will continue.

Diesel Fuel Prices

The Average price for Diesel Fuel in the United States on 4/24/17 is $2.595. This price is slightly down from the previous week. Four regions in the country were also slightly down,  while it was slightly up in five regions. One region ( Gulf Coast ) remained the same at $2.458. California remains the most expensive state to purchase fuel…$2.947.

The average price of Diesel Fuel in the United States on 4/17/17 was $2.597. The price has continued to increase over the past two months. This week, it has gone up in every region of the company, except in New England, where it went down from $2.639 to $2.638.

For the third consecutive week, the price of a gallon of diesel fuel has gone up in the United States. The average price posted on 04/10/17 was $2.582. Every region in the country has increased. The lowest price was in the Gulf Coast Region at $2.446. The highest was in the West Coast Region ( California ) at $2.935. The experts believe that this trend will continue throughout the summer.

The United States on-highway diesel fuel prices recorded on 04/03/17 averaged $2.556 per gallon. Every region of the country showed an increase from the previous week. The highest price in the nation was in California at $2.923 per gallon. The lowest was in the Gulf Coast region with a price of $2.414 per gallon.
