According to Cass Truckload Linehaul Index truckload line-haul cost for November rose 1.4 percent from October, and 2.7 percent from November 2011 as cost moved up for the second straight month.
The truckload pricing index increased to 111.0, the highest rating in 2012.
Intermodal rates increased in November by 1.6 percent compared to October, a 0.4 percent increase compared to the same time period in 2011 according to Cass Intermodal Index.
The intermodal pricing index rose from 102.0 in October to 103.6 in November.
