The national average diesel fuel price jumped five cents from last week to $3.95 per gallon, according to the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA. The East Coast and Midwest had the biggest increases, both seeing a seven cent hike. The East Coast’s average diesel fuel price is now at $4.07 per gallon, and the Midwest’s average price per gallon is now $3.94. The West Coast price only increased one cent from last week to $3.99 per gallon. Increasing less than one penny the average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast remained at $3.77 per gallon. The average diesel fuel price in the Rocky Mountain region remained unchanged from last week at $3.86 per gallon.
