The U. S. on-highway diesel fuel price for the week of 9/18/17 averaged $2.786 per gallon. The price went down in seven of the ten regions in the country. California remains the highest price in the country at $3.179 per gallon. The Gulf Coast region has the best price at $2.615 per gallon.
