The U. S. on-highway diesel fuel price on July 3 was $2.472 per gallon. This price is a
slight increase from the previous week. It also creeped up in every region in the country
with the exception of the Rocky Mountain Region where it went down slightly. As it has been for the past
few months, the highest price in the United States remains in California…$2.866.
The lowest price continues to be in the Gulf Coast Region…$2.307.
