Friday begins the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Drunk Driving National Enforcement Crackdown. The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign starts August 16th and runs through September 2nd. Thousands of law enforcement officers, state and local safety advocates and the NHTSA participate in the campaign in an effort to get drunk drivers off the road, raise public awareness about the dangers of drunk driving and to save more lives on the nation’s roadways.
