Average Diesel Price Down

The national average diesel fuel price fell four cents to $3.85 per gallon, 22 cents lower than last year at this time according to the analysis released May 1, 2013 by the EIA.  The Gulf Coast had the largest price decrease, where the average price dropped five cents to $3.76 per gallon.  Prices went down by four cents in three of the five regions; the West Coast average price is now $3.95 per gallon, the East Coast is $3.89 per gallon, and the Rocky Mountain price is $3.81 per gallon.  The Midwest price decreased three cents to $3.84 per gallon.

Average Diesel Price Down

In the analysis released April 24, 2-13 the EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price fell six cents to $3.89 per gallon, 20 cents lower that last year at this time. For the second consecutive week prices in all regions of the nation declined, with the largest decrease on the West Coast where prices dropped eight cents to $3.99 per gallon.  The average diesel fuel price in the Midwest is $3.87 per gallon, down six cents from last week.  Both the East and Gulf Coast prices fell five cents to $3.92 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.80 per gallon on the Gulf Coast.  The Rock Mountain price is $3.85 per gallon, down four cents from last week.

In the analysis released April 24, 2-13 the EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price fell six cents to $3.89 per gallon, 20 cents lower that last year at this time. For the second consecutive week prices in all regions of the nation declined, with the largest decrease on the West Coast where prices dropped eight cents to $3.99 per gallon.  The average diesel fuel price in the Midwest is $3.87 per gallon, down six cents from last week.  Both the East and Gulf Coast prices fell five cents to $3.92 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.80 per gallon on the Gulf Coast.  The Rock Mountain price is $3.85 per gallon, down four cents from last week.

On April 17th the EIA reported the national average diesel fuel price fell four cents to $3.94 per gallon, 19 cents lower than last year at this time.  All regions of the nation had a price decrease, with the largest decrease on the West Coast, where prices dropped five cents to $4.07 per gallon.  The average price per gallon of diesel fuel is $3.85 on the Gulf Coast, four cents lower than last week.  Both the East Coast and Midwest prices went down three cents to $3.98 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.92 per gallon in the Midwest.  The Rocky Mountain price declined two cents to $3.88 per gallon.
