The Gulf Coast had the largest price decrease, where the average price dropped five cents to $3.76 per gallon. Prices went down by four cents in three of the five regions; the West Coast average price is now $3.95 per gallon, the East Coast is $3.89 per gallon, and the Rocky Mountain price is $3.81 per gallon. The Midwest price decreased three cents to $3.84 per gallon.

For the second consecutive week prices in all regions of the nation declined, with the largest decrease on the West Coast where prices dropped eight cents to $3.99 per gallon. The average diesel fuel price in the Midwest is $3.87 per gallon, down six cents from last week. Both the East and Gulf Coast prices fell five cents to $3.92 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.80 per gallon on the Gulf Coast. The Rock Mountain price is $3.85 per gallon, down four cents from last week.

Both the East Coast and Midwest prices went down three cents to $3.98 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.92 per gallon in the Midwest. The Rocky Mountain price declined two cents to $3.88 per gallon.
