The national average diesel fuel price decreased one cent to $3.87 per gallon, according to the EIA report released June 5, two cents higher than last year at this time. Prices in all regions of the nation fell except the Rocky Mountain region where the price rose less than a penny to $3.87 per gallon. Both the Midwest and West Coast prices decreased two cents to $3.90 in the Midwest and $3.97 on the West Coast. The East Coast and Gulf Coast prices both declined a penny to $3.86 and $3.77 per gallon, respectively.

The average diesel fuels price on the Gulf Coast remained unchanged at $3.78 per gallon. The Rocky Mountain price increased two cents from last week to $3.86 per gallon. Down two cents, the West Coast price is now $3.99 per gallon. The average diesel fuel price on the East Coast is $3.86, one cent lower than last week.

Up a penny, the East Coast price is now $3.87 per gallon.
