For the seventh week straight the national average diesel fuel price declined. The EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price declined one cent from last week to $3.83 per gallon. The West Coast’s average price per gallon of diesel fuel declined less than a penny to remain at $4.02 per gallon. Both the East Coast and Rocky Mountain regions had a one cent decrease to $3.88 per gallon and $3.87 per gallon respectively. The Midwest’s average price per gallon of diesel fuel also declined by a penny from last week to $3.78 per gallon. At $3.74 per gallon, the Gulf Coast currently has the lowest average price for diesel fuel.

Decreasing less than a penny the Rocky Mountain’s average diesel fuel price is still $3.89 per gallon. The average diesel fuel price on the East Coast declined two cents from last week to $3.91 per gallon. At $4.03 per gallon, the average diesel fuel price on the West Coast is the highest in the nation.
