Jared Grandy, third from left, of DALKO Resources, Inc., was part of the officiating crew that earned the right to referee the Pennsylvania State High School 5A football championship game. The game was held in mid December in Chocolate Town USA, Hershey PA. It was a huge honor for the crew to be selected from over hundreds of referees state wide. Way to go Jared!

On December 1st YRC Freight’s over length policy changed. All pipes, bars and tubes 8 feet or longer now need to be crated. These items will need to be crated on all six sides in order to be picked up by YRC. They have also made changes in their liftgate services. The new restrictions are based on weight and dimensions. YRC will only offer liftgate services for shipments that do not exceed 2500 pounds, 60 inches in length, 80 inches wide or 90 inches in height. Shipments that are not within these restrictions will not be picked up. For more details please contact your DALKO account representative or the DALKO LTL department.

On Saturday, December 1st, 2018, DALKO employees, their guests, and friends gathered at the Avalon Country Club, Hermitage, PA, to celebrate the Christmas season. The annual event has grown to slightly over one hundred attendees. Deana Grandy and her daughter Melissa Grandy-Sager did another great job planning the itinerary for the fun filled evening. Not only was it a time to ring in the holidays, but it also was time to reflect on our blessings throughout the past year.
