Average Diesel Fuel Price Up One Cent

The nationl average diesel fuel price increased one cent from last week to $3.91 per gallon according to the EIA’s Gasoline & Diesel Fuel Update for August 26, 2013.  Both the Midwest and West Coast regions had a two cent price increase, the average price per gallon in the increased to $3.77 in the Midwest and $4.07 on the West Coast.  The average price per gallon of diesel fuel in the remaining three regions, the Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountain and East Coast, increased by one penny.  The average price per gallon increased to $3.83 on the Gulf Coast, $3.93 in the Rocky Mountain region and $3.92 on the East Coast.

No Change in Diesel Fuel Price

The EIA reported in the Gasoline & Diesel Fuel Update that the national average diesel fuel price was unchanged from last week, remaining at $3.90 per gallon.  Both the Midwest and West Coast prices increased one cent to $3.87 per gallon in the Midwest, and $4.06 per gallon on the West Coast.  The average price per gallon of diesel fuel on the East Coast rose less than a penny from last week to remain at $3.91 per gallon.  The Rocky Mountain price decreased one cent to $3.92 per gallon.  Decreasing less than one cent, the average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast  remained at $3.82 per gallon.

The EIA reported the national average diesel fuel price declines one cent to $3.90 per gallon in the Gasoline & Diesel Fuel Update released August 21, 2013.  Both the Midwest and Gulf Coast prices went down two cents to $3.86 per gallon in the Midwest, and $3.82 per gallon on the Gulf Coast.  Down one penny from last week the East Coast’s average price per gallon of diesel fuel is $3.91, and the West Coast is at $4.04 per gallon.  The Rocky Mountain’s average price per gallon of diesel fuel remained at $3.93, no change from last week.

Decline in Diesel Fuel Price

The Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released August 8, 2013 by the EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price declined one cent from last week to $3.63 per gallon.  The Rocky Mountain region was the only region where the average diesel fuel price increased.  The Rocky Mountain price increased two cents to $3.93 per gallon.  Both the East Coast and Midwest prices declined one cent to $3.92 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.88 per gallon in the Midwest.  The average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast and West Coast remained unchanged from last week.  The Gulf Coast price remained at $3.84 per gallon, and the West Coast at $4.05 per gallon.

Decline in Diesel Fuel Price

The Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released August 8, 2013 by the EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price declined one cent from last week to $3.63 per gallon.  The Rocky Mountain region was the only region where the average diesel fuel price increased.  The Rocky Mountain price increased two cents to $3.93 per gallon.  Both the East Coast and Midwest prices declined one cent to $3.92 per gallon on the East Coast and $3.88 per gallon in the Midwest.  The average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast and West Coast remained unchanged from last week.  The Gulf Coast price remained at $3.84 per gallon, and the West Coast at $4.05 per gallon.

The EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price increased a penny to $3.91 per gallon in the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released July 29, 2013, 12 cents higher than last year at this time.  All regions of the nation had a price increase with the highest being the Rocky Mountain region where the price jumped five cents to $3.91 per gallon.  The average price per gallon on the East Coast, Midwest and West Coast increased by one cent to $3.93 on the East Coast, $3.89 in the Midwest and $4.05 on the West Coast.  Increasing less than a penny the average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast remained at $3.84 for the week.

Diesel Up For Third Week

The EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price increased by three cents to $3.90 per gallon in the Gasoline & Diesel Fuel Update released July 22, 2013.  The East Coast, Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountain and West Coast regions all had an average diesel fuel price increase of four cents per gallon.  The West Coast came in the highest at $4.04 per gallon, followed by the East Coast where the average price per gallon of diesel fuel increased to $3.92.  The Gulf Coast average price per gallon is now $3.84 per gallon, and the Rocky Mountain price is $3.87 per gallon.  The Midwest had the smallest price increase of only two cents, making the new average price per gallon $3.87.
