COOLSPRINGS BADMINTON OPEN 2018

DALKO Resources, Inc., is a proud sponsor of the 2018 Coolsprings Badminton Open. The tournament will be held at the Coolsprings Sports Complex in Bethel Park, PA, on Saturday, November 3rd. The one day event will begin at 8am and continue untill  8pm. Featured match-ups will include Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Representing DALKO Resources as a member of the Pittsburgh Badminton Club, is MySource Programmer, Yashwant Mahendran. Yash plays for the Pittsburgh Shuttles team…GOOD LUCK YASH!!

Sharpsville Middle School Students Send Aid To Florida

Recently, The Sharpsville, PA Middle School National Junior Honor Society conducted a fundraiser to help victims of Hurricane Irma.  The storm hit Florida in early September. More than 50 schools were damaged and left without power. The Sharpsville NJHS rolled up their sleeves and went to work. They sent over 2,000 canned goods, toiletry items, laundry soap, paper products, and blankets/clothing to a community and school that were destroyed by the hurricane. Today, our young adults are often chastised for their lack of initiative. Not so, with these awesome students. We, at DALKO Resources, cannot be more proud of our school district. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your effort, we are happy to have been able to help you with your shipping needs.

2017 ATRA Powertrain Expo held in Las Vegas

 

 

The 2017 ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association) Powertrain Expo, was held at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 19-22. This annual trade show reveals the latest products and technology in the transmission repair industry. DALKO Resources, Inc. was represented by Raul Pacheco, Sales Professional from Miami, Florida. Raul specializes in logistically moving this product line. The show was well received by the transmission professionals from around the globe. With the ever-changing marketplace and rate of technology advances, it allows these specialist to stay on top of their profession.

DALKO SUPPORTS SPECIAL NEEDS SOAP BOX DERBY

June 24, 2017 marked the 10th year of the SUPER KIDS SOAP BOX DERBY in Sharpsville, PA. The weather was great, the street was newly paved, and the kids were full of smiles. The anniversary race was kicked off by a huge parade. The Super Racers led the over 100 units by being escorted individually by 45 Jeeps. The ZemZem Shriners entertained the parade route with 10 different mobile lodge riders. There were monster trucks, clowns, Sharpsville school groups, elected officials, business floats, and the crowd favorite…The Pittsburgh Pirate Parrott! DALKO Resources, DRI Worldwide, LMR, and Thelma’s Sports Nook all had cars in the race. This is one race that has no losers. Every participant earns medals, trophies, and lots of hugs from the crowd. Everyone is looking forward to next year.

Ready, Set, Go

On Saturday June 25th the annual Super Kids Soap Box Derby Race for special needs children will be held in Sharpsville, PA.  This year DALKO is honored to be a car sponsor for the race. For the race, each child is partnered with an experienced soap box derby driver and they race down the hill against each other in a bracketed format.  Every child participating will receive a gift bag and participation award.  The champion racer will advance to the Annual National Super Kids Soap Box Derby race held in Akron, OH.  Even though it is an official race the organization tries to keep it fun and focus the entire day on providing the children with a memorable experience.  For more information on the organization and their events please visit their website, www.greaterpasuperkids.com.
