Mark Benigas, DALKO’s Chicago area sales representative, lost his brother, John R. Benigas, Sunday August 11, 2013. Our sympathy and prayers go out to Mark and his family.

Mike joined the DALKO team at the beginning of August, and is working in the dispatch department as an LTL dispatcher. He was born and raised in Farrell, PA but cheers for the Chicago Bears. We welcome Mike to the DALKO family.

Diana Gilmore has been working in the DALKO billing department since October 2011, and is a valued member of the DALKO team. She grew up in Niles, OH, but now lives in Mercer, PA with her son Mason and boyfriend Gary. Mason will be starting 2nd grade this year, and just joined the Cub Scouts. Also part of the family is a black cat named Magic and a boxer named Harley.
Diana enjoys spending time with her family, boating, reading, motorcycling and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indians. When she goes on vacation you will more than likely find her on a beach with her family, her favorite spot is Virginia Beach.

After moving to Pennsylvania he met his wife Christi and they are now expecting their first child, a little girl (Riley Alexis) due October 23.
In his spare time Mike enjoys golfing and snowboarding as well as cheering on his favorite team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. When he can get away his favorite vacation spot is Las Vegas, although after October that might be changing.

Team DALKO participated in the “Greater Super Kids Classic” adult soap box derby race that took place this past Saturday. This annual event is a day of charity to raise money for the kid’s race that will take place later this year. This program allows special needs children to be competitive and enjoy the day of several adrenaline filled rides down the area’s largest hills. Area businesses, political figures, and city departments all participate to make this event a great success. This year’s team was Joe Siguenza, Cory Johnson, Casey DuMars, and Jordan Norris. Although Team DALKO did not bring home the gold in this year’s race, we are very proud of their effort! In addition to entering a team, DALKO also sponsors a soap box derby car for the event. DALKO is proud to support this wonderful cause and we look forward to next year’s race!!
Darla Grandy, DALKO’s Treasury Administrator, has been an essential part of the DALKO team since 2006. Born and raised in Sharpsville, Darla married her high school sweetheart…Lenny Grandy. They have three children Jared, 24, Katie, 21, and Jenna, 20. Jared joined the family working at DALKO as well as continuing to be a paramedic. Katie just graduated from Westminster College with a teaching degree, and Jenna is still attending Westminster. Read More
