Diesel Fuel Update

The national average diesel fuel price remained unchanged from last week at $3.97 per gallon according to the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA.  The only region that had a price decrease from last week was the East Coast, declining one cent to $4.06 per gallon.  The East Coast price still remains the highest in the nation, however with its latest two-cent price increase the West Coast comes in a close second at $4.05 per gallon.  Increasing one cent from last week the average diesel fuel price for the Rocky Mountain region is now $3.98 per gallon.  The average diesel fuel price in both the Midwest and Gulf Coast regions increased less than a penny and remain at $3.95 per gallon and $3.82 per gallon, respectively.

Diesel Fuel Update

Increase in Diesel Fuel Prices

Diesel fuel prices are up across the nation according to the EIA’s weekly Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update.  The national average diesel fuel price is up two cents from last week to $3.97 per gallon.  The West Coast had the biggest increase jumping five cents from last week to $4.03 per gallon.  Both the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain regions had a three cent increase making the average price per gallon of diesel fuel $3.82 on the Gulf Coast and $3.97 in the Rocky Mountain region.  Only increasing once cent from last week, the average diesel fuel price for the Midwest is $3.94 per gallon.  Although the average diesel fuel price on the East Coast did not increase this week, the region continues to have the highest price in the nation at $4.07 per gallon.

This week the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price declined two cents from last week to $4.00 per gallon.  Currently the Gulf Coast has the lowest average diesel fuel price in the nation at $3.80 per gallon, one cent lower than last week.  The Rocky Mountain price was also down from last week by a penny, reducing the average price per gallon of diesel fuel to $3.99.  The average diesel fuel price in both the Midwest and West Coast declined by two cents from last week to $3.99 per gallon and $4.02 per gallon respectively.  The East Coast continues to be the region with the highest average diesel fuel cost at $4.14 per gallon, two cents lower than last week.

This week the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA reported that the national average diesel fuel price declined two cents from last week to $4.00 per gallon.  Currently the Gulf Coast has the lowest average diesel fuel price in the nation at $3.80 per gallon, one cent lower than last week.  The Rocky Mountain price was also down from last week by a penny, reducing the average price per gallon of diesel fuel to $3.99.  The average diesel fuel price in both the Midwest and West Coast declined by two cents from last week to $3.99 per gallon and $4.02 per gallon respectively.  The East Coast continues to be the region with the highest average diesel fuel cost at $4.14 per gallon, two cents lower than last week.
