Diesel Fuel Continues to Decline

The national average diesel fuel price continues to decline according to the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA.  The report showed the national average diesel fuel price decreased two cents from last week to $3.96 per gallon.  The average price in both the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions  declined by two cents to $3.44 per gallon and $3.95 per gallon respectively.  The East Coast also had a two cent decrease, but at $4.07 per gallon continues to have the highest average diesel fuel price in the nation.  The  average price of diesel fuel is now $3.98 per gallon on the West Coast and $3.79 per gallon on the Gulf Coast, only down a penny from last week for both region.

Decline in Diesel Fuel Prices

The national average diesel fuel price decreased by one cent from last week to an average of $3.99 per gallon according to the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA.  The East Coast’s average diesel fuel price decrease by two cents from last week, but still remains the highest average price in the nation at $4.12 per gallon.  The Midwest also had a two-cent price decrease making the average diesel fuel price $3.97 per gallon.  Both the Rocky Mountain and West Coast prices declined by a penny to $3.98 per gallon and $4.01 per gallon respectively.  Unchanged from last week, the average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast remains at $3.80 per gallon.

The national average diesel fuel price decreased by one cent from last week to an average of $3.99 per gallon according to the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA.  The East Coast’s average diesel fuel price decrease by two cents from last week, but still remains the highest average price in the nation at $4.12 per gallon.  The Midwest also had a two-cent price decrease making the average diesel fuel price $3.97 per gallon.  Both the Rocky Mountain and West Coast prices declined by a penny to $3.98 per gallon and $4.01 per gallon respectively.  Unchanged from last week, the average diesel fuel price on the Gulf Coast remains at $3.80 per gallon.

Diesel Fuel Update

The average national diesel fuel price remained steady at $4.02 per gallon for the third week in a row according to the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update released by the EIA.  The Midwest had the only price decrease this week, but only went down by a penny to $4.01 per gallon.  Both the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain regions had a two cent increase from last week to $3.81 per gallon and $4.00 per gallon, respectively.  Increasing less than one cent, the average diesel fuel price on the West Coast remained at $4.04 per gallon.  The East Coast continues to have the highest average diesel fuel price in the nation, remaining unchanged from last week, at $4.16 per gallon.

Diesel Fuel Update

Diesel Fuel Prices on the Rise

The EIA reported in the weekly Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update that the national average diesel fuel price rose three cents from last week to $4.02 per gallon.  The average diesel fuel price in the Rocky Mountain region jumped five cents to $3.95 per gallon.  Increasing four cents, the average diesel fuel price on the West Coast is now $4.04 per gallon.  The Midwest’s average price per gallon of diesel fuel is no $4.02, three cents higher than last week.  Both the East Coast and Gulf Coast had a two cent increase to $4.15 per gallon and $3.80 per gallon, respectively.

Diesel Prices Up
