Lee Bowdish Joins DALKO Resources As Director – Supply Chain Solutions
We are very pleased to announce our newest team member, Mr. Lee Bowdish. Lee joins DALKO Resources and brings a significant amount of transportation experience. He has held numerous operations, sales, and marketing positions with major trucking companies, including involvement with specialized services and expediting solutions. Lee will be instrumental in helping DALKO customers with innovative solutions to provide value and savings in their Supply Chain.
Lee resides in the Tappan Lake area of Ohio, outside Canton, OH. He and his wife Robin have raised three sons; Kristopher, 25, a special needs child; Erik, 23, a Metallurgical Engineer for Timken in Knoxville and Taylor 19, a freshman at The Ohio State University majoring in Material Science Engineering.
He is a Graduate of football power Mount Union College and earned an MBA at Ohio University. He has been involved as a school board director serving his local community. In his limited spare time, he enjoys boating, skiing, watching his favorite college teams at Ohio State, and hanging out with his loyal golden retriever, Otus.

On January 8th at 4:23 PM Jackson Parker Coon was welcomed into the world by his parents, Jesse and Melissa Coon and his two big brothers Jayden Micheal, 4, and Jesse Anthony, 2. Jackson was 8lbs, 20.5″ long at birth.

Employee Spotlight: Carl Keck
Carl Keck joined the DALKO maintenance department August 26, 2013. Before becoming part of the DALKO family he was self-employed, owner of Sharpsville Plumbing.
Carl grew up in Sharon, PA then served in the Marine Corps from 1994-1998. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Mandee, who works for a non-profit company helping mentally handicapped adults. Carl and Mandee have two children who attend Sharpsville High School, daughter Kailynne who is 17 years old and son Donny who is 15 years old. Two other members the family are Rooney and Mia, the family’s two pugs.
Carl has a diverse list of hobbies including golfing, hunting, and riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. However the most surprising is karaoke, which the DALKO team got to witness at the last DALKO Christmas party. He is also a fan of who else but the Pittsburgh…well all of them the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

Expanded North American Operations
DALKO Resources, Inc. is excited to announce that it has expanded its North American operations in Laredo, Texas. Previously, DALKO had been utilizing Global Dispatch, an independent service provider, to service DALKO’s customers in Laredo. However, effective January 1, 2014, DALKO will no longer be using Global Dispatch as DALKO will be independently servicing its customers in Laredo. DALKO has acquired the former Global Dispatch facilities in Laredo, which DALKO itself will be utilizing, to service its customers transportation and warehouse needs. Jim Kosior, DALKO’s Director of North American operations along with new hires, Aristeo Canales, Director of Mexican Operations, Nydia Davila, Gustavo Cuevas and Javier Magana, will be working in the DALKO Laredo facility, ensuring that all of its customers’ needs are being met with DALKO quality service.
In addition to DALKO’s commitment to its customer’s warehouse and transportation needs, DALKO is also pleased to announce the formation of its new customs brokerage division, DRI Wolrdwide Customs Brokerage, Inc. With the creation of DALKO’s customs brokerage division, DALKO will be able to offer its customers the unique opportunity of having all of its logistics needs managed from port to port by one provider, DALKO Resources, Inc., assuring superior service. In addition, every customer will have the opportunity to know who their customs broker is and be able to personally communicate with him every day. DALKO now has two in-house US Customs Brokers, Matt Lauther and Joe Joseph who will ensure that every client’s customs needs are met professionally and expediently.

Please Help Us in Welcoming Aristeo
Aristeo R. Canales Jr. joined the DALKO team November 4th of this year. He will be working out of DALKO’s Laredo, TX office as the Director of Mexican Operation. Aristeo comes to us with over 20 years of transportation/logistics experience, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Texas A&M International University. Since the age of 15 years old, when his family started a freight and warehousing business, Aristeo has been part of the industry.
Aristeo lives in Laredo with his wife Rita, his son Aristeo R. Canales III and Rita’s children Leilani, Danilo and Malik Sanchez. The family also has two dogs, a golden retriever, Nacho, and a Sharpie mix named Daisy. Aristeo and his wife are very active and strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Rita loves to run, while Ariesto enjoys mountain biking and lifting weights. The family also enjoys traveling, and Aristeo dreams of someday taking a twelve week tour of Europe.
